About the Role

Reporting to Manager People Hub, this 18-month fixed term role will play a pivotal part in the People Hub Team. The initial focus of this role is to support the implementation of a our incoming HRIS platform by acting as liaison for Contractors and Managers of Contractors. This role will be crucial in ensuring the successful embedment of the solution through providing excellent customer service, efficient administration processing and governance reporting. This role will also actively contribute to the broader People Hub Team by providing expertise, advice, and solutions for a variety of HR related queries.

  • Responsible for administration support and guiding Managers and Contractors through new business and system processes and policies
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders becoming a trusted advisor
  • Ensure positive employee/ contractor experiences in areas such as onboarding, leave, employee information, data management, performance management, transition, and offboarding processes
  • Deliver quality first level advice and operational support for job evaluation, position management and employment conditions; including EBA, Policy and procedures
  • Participate and contribute to the development and delivery of improvement initiatives for policies, procedures and HR technology solutions

About you:

  • Generalist experience in a range of HR disciplines
  • Ability to deal professionally and empathetically with confidential issues
  • Committed team player with an enthusiastic and dynamic approach, demonstrating sound organisational abilities with a high level of flexibility
  • Experience working with HR systems (Dayforce HRIS) and case management systems (ServiceNow) (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of workplace people policies and procedures and Water Enterprise Agreements (Desirable)
