About the Role

This full time role is based from our Brooklyn office, with a focus on our North and Western projects. Reporting to the Design & Estimation Program Lead, this is a pivotal role within the Minor Capital team. As the Capital Delivery Estimator you will be responsible for scoping / estimation, design management, commercial strategy, and risk management of the Works Delivery Minor Capital program. 

This includes:

  • Lead the scoping/estimation, design management, commercial strategy and risk management of capital program during the estimation phase of the project life cycle.
  • Provide technical expertise in complex construction and delivery methodologies
  • Develop, lead and continuously improve the program monitoring and reporting in relation to the initiation, scoping and estimation process

About you:

  • Extensive experience in leading and developing complex construction / delivery methodology in a range of disciplines including Civil and Environmental
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive project outcomes
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in civil or environmental disciplines.
  • Expertise in cost estimation of large multidiscipline programs of works and individual projects
  • Knowledge of standards, legislation and regulatory authorities
  • Expertise in estimation, planning and construction management
  • Expertise in site investigations and reporting
  • Valid Victorian Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
