Reporting to the Manager IMS Strategy & Governance, this newly created permanent, full-time role will help shape how Melbourne Water documents, communicates and continually improves the systems and processes that guide how we work.
With a strong focus on content development, process design and management systems, you will develop clear, practical and engaging Integrated Management System (IMS) and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) content. You’ll take complex regulatory, risk and compliance requirements and translate them into well-structured procedures, standards, frameworks and guidance that are easy for people across the business to understand and apply.
This is predominantly a desk-based role suited to someone who combines management systems, risk or compliance expertise with exceptional written communication skills and an understanding of what good process and content design looks like.
In this role you will:
You are an accomplished writer and possess a strong background in process design and management systems who can turn complex requirements into content that is clear, useful and engaging. You understand that having extensive procedures and documentation is only valuable when people can easily understand and apply them.
You’ll bring an understanding of risk and compliance, alongside the communication skills to think about how different audiences consume information. Your background could come from health and safety, environment, quality, risk, compliance, management systems or another highly regulated environment.
