About the role

Thiess Iron Bridge are seeking a Drill Fitter to join our Field Maintenance team, working a 14/7 roster, maintaining a fleet of Epiroc D65 and CAT MD6310 drills. 

Some of your key duties will include:

• Completing general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of rotary Blast Hole Drill Rigs and Heavy Mining equipment
• Ability to source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer based systems
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times

About you

• Trade Certificate as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving ability, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Post trade experience working on Blast Hole Drill Rigs
• Commitment to safety 
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
