What you’ll do

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Finance Lead and stakeholders across Thiess, MACA, and PYBAR to provide support and guidance in decision making, process establishment, JDE configuration, migration activities, reconciliations and reporting.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, engages in learning new things, and enjoys tackling challenges head-on.
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or similar roles.
  • ERP or finance system implementation project experience desirable but not required.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and familiarity with business process documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience working with JD Edwards highly regarded
  • Willingness to travel to Perth (approx. one week/month)

Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will depend on the knowledge, experience and interests of the successful individual, but in general will include:
  • Providing guidance in decision making
  • Collaborating with Finance and Operational teams to establish, align and improve processes
  • Helping with JDE setup and configuration, housekeeping, data preparation and journal creation, and post migration reconciliations
  • Assisting with training and provide hands-on support to users and stakeholders  
  • Creating models, tools and documentation to support these activities

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You are a finance professional with strong analytical skills and ERP experience, ready to contribute to a high-impact transformation project. You bring a collaborative mindset, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your ability to work across teams and manage competing priorities will be key to your success in this role.
