In this Business Banking Executive role, you will

  • Strategic customer relationship and operational management, maximising revenue outcomes, pipeline management, prospecting and acquisition, account planning, workload planning, etc.
  • Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; manage mitigate issues or breaches as they are identified.
  • Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accountability including managing revenue, lending and deposit volumes, margin management and Other Operating Income.
  • Hold significant DCA to account for customer complexity within their respective portfolios.
  • Provide leadership support for direct reports in capability development, relationship development/management and guidance in achieving individual business plans.
  • Be accountable for the execution of risk appetite and culture as per the B&PB Risk Appetite
  • Be a key influencer working across the market to bring to life the NAB’s proposition, in particular growing and deepening industry specialisation.
  • Lead and message required Change in our business

What you’ll bring

  • Significant banking background in either business, private, corporate or credit or equivalent professional experience in a related career
  • Depth and breadth of leadership of a team, ideally with functional and professional diversity.
  • As the face of NAB, role model our values and behaviours in my community and leverage my deep understanding of the local market and broader industry trends.
  • Own the overall performance of the geography including customer outcomes, financial performance, strategy, execution, operational management and meeting the rising community expectations of banks.
  • Drive efficiencies and effectiveness across the team, business partners and overall value chain.
  • Strategic customer relationship and operational management e.g., maximising revenue performance, pipeline management, prospecting and acquisition, account planning, workload planning, etc.
  • As a leader, co-create initiatives to optimise our value proposition by collaborating broadly across NAB with specialists and partners.
