Programmed Group Training has an exciting opportunity for a professional, passionate, driven and enthusiastic individual looking at joining our GTO (Apprenticeships & Traineeships) team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in a full-time capacity.

Based in Docklands, Melbourne, this position will suit an individual who is a self-starter, people person and passionate about commencing a career within recruitment.  This role will include completing various functions within the recruitment process for apprenticeships and traineeships, building strong relationships with both clients and candidates, and ensuring data integrity meeting all compliance requirements.

 

Reporting to our Senior Recruitment Consultant, as part of the traineeship, you will be provided ongoing coaching, mentoring and support providing you the skills and knowledge to be successful as a Recruiter.  Mandatory completion of a Certificate III or IV level qualification over 12 months.

 

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for: -

  • Completing various recruitment processes including: -
    • Advertising roles on various platforms
    • Telephone Screening candidates determining suitability for our vacancies
    • Completion of reference checks
    • Developing candidate briefs
    • Organizing interviews for both internal and external clients
    • Organizing Police Checks and Pre-Employment Medicals
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records in our database
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding business requirements, providing tailored recruitment solutions and ensuring satisfaction
  • Daily reporting to our Senior Recruitment Officer
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies

  • Ability to build and develop client relationships
  • Be highly motivated and driven to succeed
  • Creative, highly adaptable and a forward thinker
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to demanding timelines

To be eligible for a Traineeship you must be an Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident.
