The Project:

CPB Contractors has been selected by the Queensland Government as managing contractor for stage one of the new Bundaberg Hospital. CPB Contractors will lead the design phase of the project which involves the design of a new six-storey hospital for acute, medical, surgical and mental health services, as well as emergency, clinical support services, and associated infrastructure.

About the role:

We are currently recruiting a Quality Advisor to join the New Bundaberg Hospital team. This role will be site based – Bus in Bus out on 10/4 roster reporting to the Quality Manager. You will be responsible for the management and facilitation of all site-specific quality assurance requirements and providing day-to-day support to project team members to ensure that specified project quality requirements are met.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and coordinate closure of project delivery records and ensure completeness of records to Client requirements, including Lots and ITPs.
  • Working with Engineers to coordinate closure of NCR records.
  • Assisting in monitoring and maintaining the requirements of the Project Quality Management System and systems for data, document and record management.
  • Assisting project personnel in the preparation and coordination of project quality system documentation including preparation and review of documentation to/from subcontractors and suppliers.

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.
  • Quality Management experience on large scale construction projects eg hospitals, airports, commercial properties.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related management systems.
  • Internal Auditor and/or Lead Auditor qualifications highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience.
  • Available for a 10:4 roster
