This role is crucial to the smooth and compliant operation of heavy vehicle movements on-site, ensuring all drivers adhere to safety and legal requirements. You will play a key role in supporting our logistics and safety teams by maintaining accurate records and flagging any non-compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Data Management & Compliance:
- Use SPARK’s logistics software to diligently track and identify instances where truck drivers have not complied with required rest breaks, speed limits, or have driven overloaded.
- Ensure accurate cross-checking of records to confirm compliance with safety regulations.
-
Notification & Reporting:
- Notify supervisors and managers of any instances of non-compliance with rest break requirements, speeding, or overloading by heavy vehicle drivers.
-
Education & Support:
- Receive in-house training and ongoing support in interpreting the National Heavy Vehicle Law Act and Regulations, including the Chain of Responsibility obligations.
-
Record Keeping & Clerical Support:
- Maintain up-to-date records of all inducted heavy vehicles and drivers on the project.
- Ensure data entry into systems like Gearbox is accurate and updated progressively.
What We Offer:
- Comprehensive training and support
- Opportunity to be part of a large-scale infrastructure project
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- A collaborative and dynamic team environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency in data entry and software use
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
