The Project

CPB Contractors along with our industry partners, have been appointed as an Alliance to deliver the Main South Road and Victor Harbor Road duplication projects, with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport located in Adelaide, South Australia.  This is known as the Fleurieu Connect Alliance.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Digital Engineer to join our team in Tatachilla.  As a Senior Digital Engineer your interface with the delivery team will ensure the digital information created during the design phase is fully utilized during construction. Your skills and determination will help deliver this important transport infrastructure project.

 Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution
  • Experience in initiating, agreeing and implementing BIM and SIM Plans
  • Demonstrated commercial experience including planning ahead for duration of design and construction deliverable, reporting against plan and cost.
  • Ability to facilitate Value Engineering reviews of consultant designs via the use of digital tools and workflows.
  • Support the establishment of the BIM Execution Plan, Protocols, Common Data Environment and federated model for the project.
  • Previous experience in the delivery of transport infrastructure projects with rail experience highly regarded.
  • Ability to support the BIM Manager in the delivery of a project specific implementation plan to the project team.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative working, information exchange and project team environment
  • Alliance project experience will be highly desirable
  • Assist in providing appropriate training and support to the project teams in the use of BIM software.
  • Identify and create opportunities to innovate and challenge existing practices.
