Located in North Sydney and reporting to the Group Manager – Talent, this role will develop, implement and evaluate resourcing and talent solutions to business challenges for the NSW & ACT regions. The role will collaborate with business leaders and HR teams to design and implement effective strategies, utilising the support of the broader Talent Team.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be part of the wider CPB People & Culture Team and will:

  • Be the regions advisor on business processes as well as external market trends and insights
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process for the region, from defining needs to onboarding new employees, ensuring that recruitment goals are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Advise on and support the mobilisation of newly awarded projects and tenders
  • Manage the end-to-end redeployment process for their region
  • Deliver accurate workforce planning for their region as part of the Corporate CPB Contractors process
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of pipelines of prospective candidate profiles

Requirements for this role are:

  • Significant sourcing/talent acquisition experience in challenging environments and markets, ideally in construction, oil, gas and/or resources sectors
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate with and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • High level of proficiency in current recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Excellent skills in online search, market and competitor mapping
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently but also as part of a team
