The Project
CPB Contractors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works are commencing now and will go through until mid-2026.
Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Health and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team in Nyiyaparli Country and manage all the health services across all CPB personnel on the Western Ridge Crusher Project. Reporting to the Project HSE Manager, and supported by the CPB National Injury Management Team you will be responsible for:
- Providing assistance, guidance and support for the effective management of post incident employee injuries, rehabilitation and claims management.
- Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships to engage stakeholders and enable effective delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processes.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- First Aid/CPR Certificate; valid within the last 12 months
- Injury Management and Return to Work Coordinator qualification
- Mental Health First Aider qualification
- Allied Health qualification (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing or similar) is desirable
- Certificate IV in WHS is also highly regarded
- Current driver’s license and National Police Clearance valid within the last 3 months
