Your opportunity
The Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager is a key role within the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs function responsible for CPB Contractors’ network of Community & Stakeholder professionals, supporting the delivery of project-related content, to enhance CPB Contractors’ reputation as an industry leader in community and stakeholder relationships, while also supporting the centralised submissions team through the coordination of Community & Stakeholder resources (internal, external and on- project) support.
Additional accountabilities include;
- Functional leadership of CPB Contractors Community & Stakeholder discipline, fostering a network of Community & Stakeholder practitioners across our projects and maintaining an approved portfolio of consultants available to support submissions teams, project-overflow and other work winning activities.
- Supports the curation of a strategic mix of content sourced from our projects to be used across CPB communication platforms, on key topics that include but are not limited to construction activities and supporting efforts in community involvement, social inclusion and sustainability.
- Support CPB's Work Winning efforts by developing, reviewing and editing core content on tenders and bids and the key corporate communications contact for projects
- Provide advice in response to client, tender and project C&S needs – building consistency and continuous improvement practices to elevate CPB’s offering; and collaborates with submissions on Community & Stakeholder relations.
- Provide advice, manage relationships and be a central point of contact for C&S teams on projects, providing specialist knowledge, solutions and advice and supporting the coordination and allocation of C&S resources across CPB Contractors’ projects and tenders.
Skills & experience:
- Demonstrated experience with a range of communication channels and platforms, including online and digital
- A minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role
- Experience and skills preferably in both internal and external communication
- Strong eye for visual and written detail and accuracy
- Experience working in a complex business environment and with agency relationship management experience
This role supports the CPB Contractors business across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea and will be based in one of our HQ locations.
