Your opportunity
The Senior SHES Tender Advisor is a key role within the Work Winning function to support the effective delivery of tenders and the integration of safety, health, environmental and sustainability considerations and practices are integrated into tenders and the pre-contract phase of projects.
Additional accountabilities include;
- Provide expert guidance and oversight during the tender and pre-contract phase to identify and mitigate potential SHES risks, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and regulations.
- Provide expert guidance and management of Safety, Environment or Sustainability consultants during the tender and pre-contract phase to mitigate potential SHES risks, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and regulations.
- Review and prepare tender documents as per the Tender Plan and Program considering project risks and opportunities.
- Participate in Interim/Final tender reviews.
- Reviewing and comparing contract documentation and the terms of the award against the tender documents and the basis of the tender submission.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Proven experience in managing Safety, Environment or Sustainability in a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Construction project delivery experience and qualifications in sustainability or environmental management are desirable.
- High level relationship management and communication skills across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Direct experience in sectors such as construction, engineering, infrastructure, mining and telecommunications.
- Project tender and delivery experience.
This role supports the CPB Contractors business across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea and will be based in one of our HQ locations.
