Reporting into the Work-Winning/Pre-Contracts SHES Manager, and as part of the Corporate SHES Team, the Senior Advisor will support with work winning and tender delivery relating to sustainability considerations and practices and ensure that submissions are above best practice.
With offices based in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, this role can be located at one of those metro locations with some travel required. It will provide expert guidance and oversight during the tender and pre-contract phase to identify and mitigate potential Sustainability Management risks, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and regulations.
The successful person will review and prepare tender documents as per the Tender Plan/Program considering project risks and opportunities, participate in Interim/Final tender reviews and support with the Tender Contract Handover Meetings. Above that, it will be a strategic role ensuring that base line content is set up successfully with regards to responses and tender submissions.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Relevant experience in Sustainability in a large multi-disciplinary organisation
- Direct experience in sectors such as construction, engineering, infrastructure, mining and telecommunications.
- Project tender and delivery experience.
- High level relationship management and communication skills across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Relevant degree in Sustainability, Architecture, Engineering or Science or post graduate qualification in Sustainability
- Completion of a relevant Institute of Applied Technology - Construction course is highly regarded
