The Project

CPB Constructors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.  Works are commencing now and will go through until mid 2026. 

Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Supervisor with a background in scaffolding and high risk access equipment, to join our team, taking ownership for the self-performed and subcontractor scope.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project
  • Ensuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work
  • Monitoring construction and installation progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards
  • Managing site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping
  • Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work
  • Forward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordination
  • Ensuring subcontracts act safety and comply with safety requirements 

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Minimum five years’ experience supervising and leading crews large FIFO infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to maximise productivity rates and report on production and progress.
  • Frontline Management or similar supervisor training preferred.
  • A collaborative and diligent attitude to project delivery and commitment to promoting a friendly team environment on site
