Your opportunity

As the Project Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of building works for the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital project.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of daily site activities, ensuring alignment with the project’s scope, schedule, and safety requirements. 
  • Providing the construction team with technical advice, including the interpretation of drawings, specifications, and design details. 
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress, maintaining accurate site records, and contributing to weekly progress reports and cost control. 
  • Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of works to the required quality and safety standards. 
  • Promoting and enforcing safety, environmental, and quality procedures in all on-site activities, in line with both project and regulatory requirements

 

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 
  • Previous site-based experience on major building projects. 
  • Experience working on healthcare or hospital projects is highly desirable, with an understanding of the complexity, safety protocols, and sensitivity required in healthcare environments. 
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project documentation, and

The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment project involves the design and construction of new state-of-the-art hospital facilities to meet the growing healthcare needs of Western Sydney. The project includes a new hospital tower, expanded emergency services, and enhanced clinical spaces.
