The Project

With an exciting pipeline of projects on the horizon, CPB Contractors is recruiting an experienced Contracts Administrator for our defence project located in Townsville, QLD.

Your opportunity

Sitting within the delivery teams, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparation and issuance of tender packages
  • Negotiation and preparation of contracts for award
  • Evaluation of variation claims and issuing assessments for review and approval by management
  • Management of subcontractor payment claims
  • Preparation and issuance of contract correspondence to Contractors

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or relevant
  • Experience in the procurement and management of subcontract packages for large-scale projects
  • Effective contract negotiation skills and ability to assess large complex claims and variations
  • Robust understanding of relevant legislation and ability to interpret and apply contracts
