The Project
CPB Contractors has been selected by the Queensland Government as managing contractor for stage one of the new Bundaberg Hospital. CPB Contractors will lead the design phase of the project which involves the design of a new six-storey hospital for acute, medical, surgical and mental health services, as well as emergency, clinical support services, and associated infrastructure.
The project is seeking experienced Contracts Administrators and Senior Contractor Administrators to support the project locally or on a DIDO Roster.
Your main responsibility is to effectively manage the administration of all subcontractor and supplier contracts within prescribed cost limits and contribute to ensuring financial and operational commitments are met or exceeded.
The roles include, but is not limited to:
- Effectively managing the administration of all subcontract and supplier contracts
- Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation and review of the project monthly reports
- Developing and managing own work schedule to deliver required outputs to expected quality and within timeframes
- Assisting with any contractual issues on the project
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant Tertiary qualification
- Similar industry experience
- Robust understanding of relevant legislation
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage time and workload
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team that delivers excellence
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel
- Effective interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict in a high stress environment
