Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking suitability qualified Pipeline Pressure Test Technician (Hydraulic Technicians) to join our APLNG project team. This role is fulltime and based onsite on FIFO arrangement from Brisbane working 18 days on 10 days off roster.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Carry out hydrostatic and Pneumatic testing, including commissioning activities
- Complete testing documentation and quality records
- Perform pressure test and flushing procedures on a range of different systems using a variety of different mediums (hydro, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel etc.)
- Perform hydrostatic and Pneumatic pressure and leak testing on pipelines and associated infrastructure
- Fabricate, assemble, and install components and systems according to specifications and industry standards
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct inspections and testing of components to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and prepare reports as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment
Applicants with the following will be highly regarded:
- Relevant trade qualification or certification in mechanical engineering, hydraulics or plumbing
- Sound knowledge of pressure fittings and their applications.
- Experience with hydro, pneumatic or leak testing
- Experience working with pumps, compressors and pipelines.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures in the workplace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work within a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid Australian MR driver's license
