The key purpose of this position is to coordinate the recruitment process and deliver high performing candidates that are aligned with the culture and values of the company, into roles across NZ based construction projects, and into support departments as required. 

The Resourcing Advisor works collaboratively and cooperatively with members of the human resources, senior management and the site project teams, to provide successful recruitment outcomes whilst maximising the use of core recruitment technology applications.

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the NZ Human Resources Manager; the core responsibilities of the role will include: 

  • Delivery of end to end resourcing, and ensuring that new hires are a positive match for the business
  • Stakeholder management, influencing and advising on all aspects of resourcing strategy
  • Resource and redeployment management
  • Spending time on-site with hiring managers and building relationships across teams
  • Supervision of the Recruitment Administrator
  • Contributing to a culture of innovation and performance delivery in regards to processes, systems and service
  • Participating and contributing to an effective and productive team

To be successful in this role the candidate will have the following skills, experience and demonstrate the below competencies;

  • Formal training and experience in end to end recruitment & selection (essential)
  • Targeted selection interview training
  • Previous experience using talent management and sourcing technology
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, consult, and coach
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills with aptitude to follow up and to drive outcomes, plan work and meet completion schedules
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills; and
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise, exercise discretion, be pro-active and use initiative
