What does the job look like?

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll play a fundamental role in attracting and securing the best professionals for our business, including blue-collar and white-collar roles. Your broad knowledge of recruitment best practices will be invaluable as you partner with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop targeted strategies to build organisational capability and culture to fuel our growth. Key areas:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, providing insights and market intelligence to guide recruitment decisions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and craft targeted recruitment strategies that align with our business goals.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including offer negotiation and onboarding activities.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings to ensure candidates meet Linfox's standards.
  • Utilise a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and industry events, to discover top talent.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices to continuously refine our recruitment approach.

No two days are the same in our business, and the role requires agility, resilience, flexibility, pragmatism, customer focus, and a strong work ethic. You are driven by quality and enjoy working in a large organisation, managing the end-to-end recruitment process. You can demonstrate

  • Previous experience in an Agency or in-house Talent Acquisition role.
  • Proven ability to manage the full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing
  • Excellent ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships with hiring managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong understanding of the operational requirements and challenges within the logistics industry.
