What does the job look like?

We are seeking a commercially astute and results-driven Senior Business Optimisation Manager to join our Consumer & Healthcare Group. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the identification and implementation of industry best operational solutions, driving efficiency and enhancing customer experience across our business.

As a strategic partner, you’ll collaborate with operational leaders, and external partners to deliver innovative projects, optimise processes, and champion continuous improvement. You’ll leverage data analytics and cutting-edge technology to adapt to a rapidly evolving market and digital landscape.Key Areas:

  • Lead productivity and customer experience initiatives using project management frameworks.
  • Drive operational performance by designing processes, systems, and reporting for efficiency gains and improved business intelligence.
  • Develop business cases, assess benefits and commercial risks, and benchmark practices to deliver industry-leading solutions.
  • Chair Continuous Improvement working groups and report progress at Quarterly Board Review Meetings.
  • Coach and support managers and staff to develop end-to-end processes and drive improvements.
  • Lead technological improvement initiatives and provide training on new processes and technologies.
  • Partner with external experts and vendors to enhance optimisation strategies.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure all safety and wellbeing standards are met.

If you thrive in a role where strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence are key, this opportunity is for you. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience leading continuous improvement programs in a national business, ideally in transport or logistics.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in business case development, risk assessment, and commercial analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
  • Proficiency in project management concepts and data analytics tools 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A degree in business management, logistics, engineering, or similar; project management and leadership training highly regarded.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Resilience, integrity, and a results-driven mindset.
