About the Role

Reporting into the GM Group Digital & Smiggle eCommerce, the Salesforce LMS Developer will be key to designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce-based loyalty solutions in a dynamic retail environment. This role involves working closely with various teams to build and optimise loyalty programs, ensuring customer satisfaction and overall business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable Loyalty Management System solutions within Salesforce
  • Customise Salesforce for loyalty-specific business needs (e.g., workflows, promotional rules, points tracking)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to recommend and implement solutions
  • Monitor system performance and address issues proactively
  • Conduct testing and create documentation, including user guides and training materials
  • Stay updated on Salesforce advancements and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APIs)
  • Experience with Salesforce Loyalty Management integration and customisation
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration (workflows, approval processes, custom objects)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator)
  • Experience with retail-focused Salesforce implementations
  • Knowledge of loyalty program frameworks and best practices
  • Familiarity with other CRM technologies and integration platforms
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong team player with effective cross-department collaboration skills
