About the role: Ready to bring your payroll expertise to a busy, high‑performing team? We’re looking for an energetic Payroll Officer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and loves getting the details right. This 9‑month contract is your chance to dive into meaningful work, support our people across the business, and help keep our payroll operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide end-to-end payroll administrative services, ensuring accurate processing and payment of employee entitlements.
• Maintain employee records, process manual timesheets, and assist with travel expense claims.
• Ensure compliance with payroll procedures, agreements, and legislation.
• Provide clear, customer-focused advice on payroll and entitlements.
• Contribute to process improvements and the ongoing review of payroll practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and efficient payroll service.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in payroll and/or HR administrative services within a large, complex organisation.
• Working knowledge of payroll systems (Demonstrated experience using Chris21 essential).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Sound understanding of employee entitlements, industrial instruments, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
