The Opportunity

The School of Psychology is recruiting for future Teaching Associates and Supervisors for our flagship undergraduate course Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). This course develops through three themes of psychology fundamentals and foundational skills, research methods and critical thinking, and psychology in practice and society. The opportunity is for Teaching Associates to lead tutorials, workshops and laboratory classes. Teaching and marking one class is approximately 5 hours per week, across the 12 week semester.

The Bachelor of Psychology operates with two semesters per year and teaching is conducted primarily on-campus.

Selection Criteria

We are looking for applicants who:

  • Have completed an APAC accredited 4th Year sequence in Psychology
  • Have teaching experience
  • Are passionate about education and improving the student experience
  • Love working in a team but also work well independently

To be eligible for this role you must have a valid working visa in Australia and be located in Australia. If you have attained your Psychology qualifications overseas, you must provide evidence that your qualifications are equivalent to at least a Masters level in Psychology, as assessed by the APS.
