The Opportunity
The treatment of infertility continues to rise worldwide. Growing at a global rate of approximately 7-8% each year, an estimated 2.5 million cycles are expected to be initiated in 2024. In response, advances in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) are progressing rapidly. Recent years have seen the introduction of clinical time-lapse technology, routine vitrification of oocytes and embryos, and an increased application of embryo biopsy and pre-implantation genetic testing, all contributing to improvements in clinical pregnancy outcomes.
This fast-paced and innovative industry has placed a global demand on education in both basic and advanced clinical ART to allow treatment centres to:
- meet patient demand;
- stay abreast of rapidly advancing technology;
- remain competitive in a developed landscape;
- develop commercially independent, evidence-based theories that improve patient outcomes.
We are seeking a dedicated Level A academic to join our esteemed Master of Clinical Embryology (MCE) program.

This position plays a vital role in maintaining the MCE program's excellence, focusing on practical components, integrating innovative teaching and assessment methods. - Manage laboratory activities for postgraduate coursework degrees and research initiatives.
- Conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, and workshops aligned with skills and expertise
- Supervise MCE research projects and engage in scholarly activities.
- Collaborate with students and colleagues, contributing to the department's professional and academic goals.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Clinical Assisted Reproduction and Technology (ART) and at least three years of embryology experience in the ART industry.
- Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrated teaching experience either within tertiary education or in a clinical setting.
