The Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Research Officer who will contribute to an exciting project supporting the implementation of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) in the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Data Registry (ACFDR). This role will support key aspects of the research process, including preparing ethics applications, coordinating study documentation and assisting with qualitative data collection and analysis. This position will play an important role in ensuring the quality, integrity and security of data while supporting the delivery of research outputs.
Working closely with the research team, consumers, partnering organisations and other stakeholders, the Research Officer will contribute to literature searches, systematic reviews and research reports. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to foster positive working relationships across diverse stakeholders.
We are seeking someone with a tertiary qualification in public health or health sciences or have substantial relevant skills and work experience in a health field. The role requires strong organisational and time management skills, experience in qualitative data collection and analysis and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative research team and contribute to important research supporting people living with cystic fibrosis. We encourage applications from individuals with a passion for health research and a commitment to making a difference.
