The Opportunity

Join Monash University’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), ranked #1 in Australia and consistently in the top 50 worldwide. We’re seeking two highly motivated Research Fellows to work on cutting-edge projects in the dynamic field of advanced alloys tailored for additive manufacturing.

Position Overview:

As a Level A Research Fellow, you will contribute to our research excellence by developing advanced materials with exceptional combined properties for diverse applications. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Optimising additive manufacturing processes to develop alloys that meet industry demands
  • Evaluating material properties and conducting advanced characterisation techniques
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including industry partners, to ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Publishing your research findings in leading academic journals
