The Opportunity
The Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) is a leader in transforming drug treatments through research across five core themes: Centre for Drug Candidate Optimisation, Drug Delivery, Disposition and Dynamics, Drug Discovery Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, and the Centre for Medicine Use and Safety. Our aim is to advance basic research into clinical trials to optimize and deliver new drug treatments.
We are seeking enthusiastic and diligent candidates for multiple Research Fellow positions at Levels A or B within the Centre for Medicine Use and Safety. These positions focus on optimising medication use and improving medication safety, contributing to a national health priority area. The successful candidates will join a dynamic team dedicated to conducting innovative research and translating findings into real-world applications.
As a Research Fellow, you will be expected to lead independent and collaborative research projects within your field of expertise. You will be involved in planning and conducting research activities, performing analysis, and disseminating findings to enhance medication use and safety. This role is ideal for candidates with strong research capabilities, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), solid project management experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
