The Opportunity

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for creating safer, healthier, and more supportive environments? Join the Faculty of Engineering as our Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Faculty Lead and help shape a culture where the safety and wellbeing of our staff and students come first.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of a faculty-wide HSW framework that supports our commitment to safety, wellbeing, and compliance.
  • Partner with Faculty leadership to drive a positive, proactive HSW culture aligned with the University’s strategic objectives.
  • Influence a team of HSW professionals across the Faculty to ensure the delivery of high-level services and support.
  • Apply innovative methodologies and customer-focused strategies to achieve impactful outcomes across all HSW initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and direction at both strategic and operational levels to strengthen HSW capability and performance.

We’re looking for a confident communicator, experienced in leading organisational change and embedding HSW best practices in complex environments. If you’re ready to take the lead in shaping a progressive and impactful HSW agenda, we’d love to hear from you.
