The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Monash University is seeking a Research Fellow (Level A) to join our world-class Drug Discovery Biology team at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS).

This research-only role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge drug discovery efforts, with a focus on biochemistry, pharmacology, structural biology, structure-function studies, and biophysical characterisation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research aligned with defined project objectives
  • Applying biochemical, biophysical and structural techniques (e.g., Native PAGE, cryo-EM) to GPCR biology
  • Supporting administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the research program
  • Collaborating within multidisciplinary research teams

Working under broad direction, the Research Fellow will help drive research outcomes and continue developing their expertise in an internationally recognised academic environment.
