Are you a dedicated Mental Health Nurse ready to step into a leadership role? Join our dynamic team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) in the Mental Health Inpatient Services, where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care across a variety of mental health settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in leading and guiding nursing staff in a mental health setting.
  • Promote continuity and consistency of care, collaborating with other ANUMs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of evidence-based, recovery-oriented services tailored to the community's needs.
  • Assist with ward/unit management, including performance management, recruitment, staffing, and leave management.
  • Take part in financial planning, supplies monitoring, and rostering to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse, with current registration or eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
  • At least 3 years of post-registration experience or currently a Clinical Nurse.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mental health practice, with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to engage with Aboriginal consumers in a culturally sensitive manner, with a commitment to further training.
  • Experience in managing teams and driving quality improvement in healthcare settings.
