About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join The Gully, North-east Clinical Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program team. The Gully program is recovery focused and provides services for people aged 18-65 years with lived experience of mental illness. The Gully aims to support an individual’s recovery journey through goal directed group and individual programs and OT assessment clinic. These services operate in the Northeast at Modbury. 

As an Occupational Therapist within the Gully program team, you will work to support individuals on their journey towards mental wellness. Your role will involve occupational therapy assessment, intervention and group program planning, implementation and evaluation. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in facilitating consumer recovery and promoting independent living through tailored therapeutic interventions. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing consumer's functional abilities, designing personalised treatment plans, creating group programs using evidenced based resources and working with consumers to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. 

This position is part of a dynamic and supportive environment that values collaboration and continuous learning. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the wider Northeast Community Mental Health multidisciplinary team, exchanging knowledge and expertise to deliver comprehensive care.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
