Are you an experienced nurse ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide advanced nursing in primary health, working across our Lower North sites in Clare, Riverton, and Balaklava.  If you're passionate about person-centred care and enhancing health outcomes in the community, this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced clinical nursing and case management to patients/clients in a community health setting.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Oversee nursing care within a team, resolving care or service delivery issues as they arise.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, guidelines, and other organisational projects.
  • Manage nursing stock, ensuring best practice and budget considerations.
  • Participate in teaching, clinical audits, research, and professional development activities.
  • Support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager with leadership and team coordination.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-registration experience.
  • Strong clinical leadership and ability to mentor less experienced staff.
  • Effective communicator with problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and adapt in diverse settings.
  • Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices and healthcare issues.
  • Understanding of primary healthcare, quality improvement, and relevant legislation.

This is a part time vacancy, working 32 hours per week over a 7 day roster and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
