Join our Country Health Connect team as a Rural Generalist Occupational Therapist- with an opportunity to work in Sub-acute inpatient rehabilitation.

We are seeking Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic, large, and well-established Occupational Therapy team which services the beautiful Limestone Coast region.

We have an opportunity for someone to work in a dedicated multidisciplinary rehabilitation team working diversely across a range of clinical care pathways. The rehabilitation team works across the inpatient hospital team at one of the largest regional hospitals in South Australia.  In addition, there is an outpatient community-based rehabilitation service within this program. There is also a well-established technology and infrastructure to support modern telehealth services

Occupational Therapists works within an energetic and rewarding environment working onsite amongst a range of medical professionals as well as visiting specialists and working closely with other multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams members including other Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologist, Social Workers, Dieticians, Allied Health Assistants and with a Rehabilitation Nurse.

You will have onsite supervision and mentoring from an experienced clinician and in addition will be linked to a rehabilitation regional network with other occupational therapists working in this program across regional South Australia.

There is the option to rotate through other inpatient and community Occupational Therapy Programs and clinical areas if you desire. You would be part of a large well established Occupational Therapy team that works across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network,

What We Are Looking For:

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, and current registration (or eligibility) with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia via AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide services in increasingly complex clinical environments using evidence-based practice.
  • Experience working across diverse service settings, including one-on-one, group-based, and health promotion activities.
  • Proven capacity for independent clinical decision-making and the delivery of quality care.
