Join the Rural Support Service (RSS) in a senior project leadership role supporting Digital Transformation and Technology Services (DTTS). Reporting to the Director, Digital Transformation, the Senior Project Officer - Lead Service Support and Development is responsible for leading the development and delivery of projects that strengthen Remote Health Monitoring services and ensure consistent, best-practice systems across regional Local Health Networks. This role plays a key part in driving service improvement, change, and innovation across complex health environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of Remote Health Monitoring projects and digital service improvements across RSS, DTTS, and regional LHNs.
  • Provide expert advice on change, redesign, and best-practice system processes.
  • Conduct strategy, practice, and policy reviews, research, and reporting.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify and implement service, system, and process improvements.
  • Support systems management, program development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate high-level written and verbal communication skills in all aspects of project work.

About RSS

The RSS is a business unit in SA Health and provides services throughout regional South Australia to support the six regional local health networks (LHNs). It employs around 260 people who work in 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, or in the RSS’s three Adelaide offices. This is a part time (0.8 FTE) vacancy, working 60 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
