About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Administrative Liaison Officer.

The Senior Administrative Liaison Officer is responsible for managing a comprehensive and confidential administrative support for Pt Pirie clinics and surgical theatre sessions. Also including managing all waiting lists and travel arrangements for medical staff and associated tasks.

The incumbent will provide a comprehensive, friendly and patient focused service to patients in the York and Northern Local Health Network waiting for elective procedures and must ensure adherence to the elective surgery guidelines around timelines, treat in turn and categorisation priority of patients to minimise risk to the health unit and to maximise the efficacy of theatre operations.

Provision of administrative support to other DSSA administration staff including backfilling leave where appropriate.

Provide senior administrative and leadership support to the Administration Manager.

Lyell McEwin Hospital The major hospital in the north and north-east for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetrics, paediatrics and outpatient services.

Modbury Hospital A general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
