About the Role

As Quality Officer, Lung Function you’ll contribute to leadership and support of a high-performing team, maintain top-quality standards to meet accreditation, and help develop innovative lung function testing and research. You’ll make a real impact on patient care and lab excellence.

• Maintain quality systems for laboratory accreditation
• Develop and introduce new procedures and practices
• Supervise scientific, technical and admin staff
• Liaise with clinicians, vendors and external partners
• Support research and education initiatives

About You

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Quality Officer, Lung Function who thrives in a high-quality laboratory environment and enjoys managing quality systems and leading teams while supporting accreditation, research and innovation.

• Hold a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science
• Eligible for associate or ordinary membership of ANZSRS
• Experienced with pulmonary function testing and laboratory quality systems
• Apply analytical skills to solve problems and improve processes
• Communicate confidently with staff, clinicians and external partners
