Overview:

The Data Analyst / Scientist is responsible for discovering, capturing, interpreting, analysing, linking and applying advanced mathematical models to health data as part of a comprehensive clinical informatics service.

The Data Analyst / Scientist achieves the high level objectives of the role through strong stakeholder engagement, visualisations, analysis and interpretation, business knowledge, documentation and data quality assurance. 

The position operates in a complex technical environment and provides customer focussed services to consumer representatives, clinicians, the Minister, operational managers and executives to facilitate data driven decisions which ensure appropriate, safe and quality services for patients within the public health system in South Australia and beyond.

For RN/M3:

Employees classified at this level provide clinical nursing/midwifery expertise and clinical leadership within their area and stream of practice and for situations of greater clinical complexity.

Appointment to classification will be based upon skills / experience.
