This role offers the opportunity to develop from a novice to a proficient Enrolled Nurse, strengthen your perioperative skills, and contribute to safe, seamless surgical experiences for patients.

About the Role:

As an Enrolled Nurse in Theatre, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Nurse/Midwife in the delivery of safe, effective perioperative care across the surgical journey. You will develop your capability within the specialised Theatre setting, progressing from novice to proficient practice as you gain experience and confidence.

Working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will contribute to high-quality care before, during, and after procedures, while retaining responsibility and accountability for your own actions and the care you provide. Your commitment to best practice and teamwork will help ensure smooth Theatre operations and excellent patient outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

This is a part time vacancy, working 56 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
