About the role

The Administration Manager leads Paediatric Admissions and Emergency Clerical Services, ensuring high quality data input, secure patient information, effective rostering, and strong complaint resolution. The Manager continuously supports the Administrative Officers while also supporting continuous service improvement.

Key duties of the role

  • Resolving difficult enquiries and customer complaints.
  • Acting as patient advocate in relation to administrative issues.
  • Develop strategies and promote initiatives that streamline the admission process.
  • Ensure patient information is updated accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare fair and equitable staff rosters.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in staff management, leadership, and performance development.
  • Significant experience in implementing and managing staff rosters.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate staff working in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and prioritise own workloads.
