About the role

The Project Lead leads Domestic Family Violence strategy, training, and service planning across SA Health, providing expert guidance on risk, policy, and best‑practice responses. The Project Lead drives system improvement, supports leadership, and builds workforce capability to enhance safety and outcomes for victims/survivors.

Key duties of the role

  • Support Manager of Cedar Health Service in the development of training plans.
  • Provide evidence-based service planning and promote a population health approach to victims/survivor safety across SA Health.
  • Coordinate, develop, and facilitate training specific to Domestic Family Violence initiatives within SA Health.
  • Provide expertise to staff to implement clinical systems, procedures and policies.
  • Support the review of SA Health policies/protocols.

Skills and Experience

  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience specific to victims/survivors safety and Domestic Family Violence.
  • Sound theoretical knowledge of feminist and victim’s rights frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply skills in analysing complex risk problems.
