An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN Level 1) to join the dedicated clinical team at Naracoorte Health Service.

Working as part of the Limestone Coast Local Health Network, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care while developing your clinical knowledge and skills within a supportive regional health environment.

This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about rural healthcare and want to contribute to improving health outcomes for local communities.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver evidence-based nursing care within a multidisciplinary team while continuing to develop your clinical practice.

You will assess patient needs, implement care plans and coordinate services to support the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.

This position provides an opportunity to broaden your experience across a range of healthcare services while building confidence and autonomy in your professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care
  • Assess, plan and implement nursing interventions for patients
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and escalate appropriately
  • Support and supervise Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and students
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Provide education and health promotion to patients and carers

You will be a compassionate and motivated nurse who demonstrates:

  • Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Essential Requirements

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
  • Current or eligible for a practising certificate
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
