About the Role

Join CALHN’s Behavioural Assessment & Response Team as a Nurse Consultant. You’ll provide expert guidance on complex behaviours, lead clinical teams, and develop care plans that keep patients and staff safe while improving outcomes across the network.

Duties
• Lead complex behaviour assessment and care planning
• Support staff in managing risks and challenging behaviours
• Provide expert advice during critical incidents and code blacks
• Develop and deliver clinical teaching, projects and research
• Mentor teams and maintain professional expertise

About You

You are an experienced and proactive nurse with expertise in complex behaviour management, ready to lead teams and influence positive outcomes.

• Hold current Nurse registration and practicing certificate
• Apply expert skills in complex behaviour assessment and care
• Lead and mentor staff in a collaborative healthcare setting
• Use problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Apply contemporary nursing knowledge and quality improvement systems
