About the Role

Bring expert nursing leadership to Safety and Quality portfolio across CALHN Outpatient Services. Lead system wide work that lifts care, shapes best practice and builds a strong safety culture. Drive clear insight, smart data use and ready for audit services that put patients first.

• Lead safety and quality across Outpatient Services
• Manage Safety Learning System and incident reports
• Prepare papers for Safety and Quality Committee
• Drive projects that lift care and service outcomes
• Guide staff on safe practice and policies
• Build and run Safety and Quality plans for Outpatients and Clinical Programs
• Coordinate audit program for Outpatient care
• Track, review and report key quality data for Outpatients
• Maintain risk, action and quality registers
• Support NSQHS standards and audit readiness

About You

You are a confident nursing leader who brings credibility, clarity and care to safety and quality work, and knows how to turn standards into everyday practice.

• Registered Nurse eligible with NMBA and current practising certificate
• Proven leader who communicates well and guides teams through change
• Strong safety, quality and risk practice across complex services
• Experience leading projects, audits and improvement initiatives
• Sound knowledge of NSQHS, legislation and Safety Learning System
