About the Role:

Join Barmera Health Services as an Administration Officer and play a vital role in delivering friendly, confidential and customer-focused administrative support to patients, care recipients, staff and visitors. You’ll contribute across hospital reception and residential aged care while maintaining accurate data and records across key health and business systems. What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria 

  • Deliver friendly, professional and confidential customer service to patients, visitors, staff and external clients.
  • Manage appointments, enquiries, reception duties and correspondence efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support, including word processing, records management, room bookings and office supplies.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy records while ensuring confidentiality, compliance and data quality.
  • Promote a safe, respectful and positive workplace through teamwork, cultural awareness and continuous quality improvement.

Desired Criteria 

  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proven administrative, clerical, computer, word processing, data entry and records management skills.
  • Health service experience and knowledge of medical records, terminology, client databases, relevant legislation and Microsoft Office are highly desirable.
