Join the Patient Services team at Port Lincoln Health Service as a Patient Services Officer in this ongoing part-time opportunity. You will play an important role in providing professional and efficient administrative and reception services to patients, visitors and health service staff, while supporting the accurate management and maintenance of patient records.

Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will contribute to a high-quality patient experience and the smooth operation of Patient Services. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills across a range of patient administration functions and make a valued contribution to the local health service.

How will you contribute?

  • Provide professional, efficient and welcoming reception services to patients, visitors and health service staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including data entry, filing, storage, retention and disposal in accordance with relevant requirements.
  • Support the efficient operation of Patient Services, including switchboard, typing, records management and other administrative functions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and health service teams to deliver responsive, accurate and high-quality patient services.
