  • Drive enterprise-level data analytics, financial modelling, and governance to ensure fair and accurate employee entitlements.
  • Full-time appointment on a 2-year, fixed-term basis.
  • Base salary range: $167,408 – $172,584 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Employee Entitlements Remediation Program (EERP) ensures accurate and fair compensation for UWA employees, addressing historical and ongoing payroll compliance issues in alignment with the Fair Work Act 2009, relevant Enterprise Agreements, and statutory requirements. The Data and Analytics team within EERP plays a critical role in financial modelling, data integrity, and remediation of entitlements across various employee cohorts.

About the opportunity

  • Provide strategic leadership for data analytics, payroll compliance modelling, and remediation reporting across the EERP.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and an external analytics vendor to ensure accurate identification and remediation of employee entitlements.
  • Oversee financial risk controls, audit readiness, and continuous improvement projects across payroll and entitlement compliance functions.

About you 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, business analytics, or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Substantial experience leading large-scale financial analytics and payroll compliance initiatives in complex organisations.
  • Deep understanding of Fair Work Act requirements, payroll systems, Australian Accounting Standards, and enterprise compliance.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams and managing external vendors.
  • Exceptional analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex findings into actionable insights.

Special Requirements

  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
