Preschool Teacher Assistant - Contingent / On- Call (No benefits) - 526252
The Preschool Teacher Assistant provides a safe and nurturing environment for children ages two months to five years. Works closely with the preschool teacher in planning and managing a classroom of children. Assumes the lead role with the children when the preschool teacher is working with students, parents, administrators and/or faculty.
Staff Psychologist - 526298
The Staff Psychologist provides direct counseling services to enrolled University students, outreach and consultation services to members of the University community, and training to students in the mental health professions as needed.
Administrative Assistant I - 526321
The Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs routine and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Groundskeeping Team Lead - 526324
The Groundskeeping Team Lead provides basic labor for landscape and flower installation and maintenance. Works outdoors in all types of weather. Drives University vehicles such as trucks, golf carts, mowers, and tractors from site-to-site. Assists with supervision of other grounds keeping employees in department.
Emergency Medical Services Dispatcher Contingent On-Call - 526325
The Emergency Medical Services Dispatcher receives and processes requests from a variety of sources to include multiple telephone lines and radio frequencies for emergency and non-emergency assistance under moderate supervision. Dispatches appropriate personnel in an efficient and timely manner. Operates various on-line systems to enter, update and retrieve data. Maintains a variety of logs and files.
Marketing Coordinator III - 526326
The Marketing Coordinator III oversees marketing, promotion, and publicity functions for a college, division, or the University under minimal supervision. Creates and implements marketing strategies using advertising, media, direct mail, etc. Coordinates production of materials specified in marketing plans and calendars. Consults with product and/or program development.
College Research Coordinator II - 526327
The College Research Coordinator II assists researchers and staff within a department, unit, or college with proposal preparation and review, proposal budget development, award administration, and related activities under moderate supervision. Provides guidance on compliance with Federal, State, and Local government regulations related to pre-award and/or post-award sponsored project activities. Participates in training as required by the Office for Research & Economic Development and serves as a liaison for the college to ORED.
Regional UA Admissions Advisor - Georgia - 526307
The Regional UA Admissions Advisor serves as the field representative for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for an assigned regional area. Recruits students to attend The University of Alabama by creating awareness about the University, its programs, and scholarship opportunities. Coordinates recruiting efforts with local alumni chapters. Identifies prospective qualified undergraduate students. Plans student receptions and counselor briefings. Analyzes data on current and future territories and markets.
Building Associate - 525374
The Building Associate coordinates building operations and services. Monitors all buildings and facilities. Communicates facilities issues that may affect work or safety to occupants. Serves as initial contact for incoming shipments and deliveries.
Architectural Design Coordinator - 526033
The Architectural Design Coordinator provides architectural support for existing and new campus projects. Assists in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of architectural techniques, procedures, and design.
Accounting Assistant II - 526308
The Accounting Assistant II maintains accurate financial records. Provides accounting and bookkeeping support. Assists University staff in understanding industry standards, current laws, and university policy as it relates to the financial affairs of the University. Provides guidance and trains entry-level Accounting Assistants.
Concierge - 526311
The Concierge greets and directs guests. Provides administrative support. Serves as initial point of contact for guests entering facilities.
Administrative Assistant II - 526318
The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs moderately complex and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Drafts and sends communications on supervisor/departmental staff behalf. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Parent Resource Associate - 526319
The Parent Resource Associate provides counseling, information, and educational materials to parents and guardians in need of information about child development and/or parenting. Maintains parent education resource database.
Research Technician - 526320
The Research Technician uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization to perform varied scientific research tasks of moderate complexity requiring application and adaptation of established techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Archival Metadata Librarian - 526299
The University of Alabama Libraries seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking individual for the position of Archival Metadata Librarian. This is a renewable contract faculty appointment with the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor reporting to the Head of Metadata and Archival Processing in the Resource Acquisition & Discovery unit and working collaboratively with metadata librarians, archivists, and digital initiatives staff in Special Collections.
